                                            ALAS is  a non for profit support group,
                                        we rely on  members fees which are due now
                                      we have kept them at  $20.00 a year.
                                      donations are very welcome to help keep us going.

                                My move went well i am just about   unpacked  & organised,
                               & getting  used to living back on the Northside,

                     I am still active in the proposed changes needed to the Birth & Death
                     certificates,hopefully we will see them  in the not to far distant future.

                                                           Hi Everyone Sad News from
 
                                                        South Australia, Meg Hale who was

                                                       employed by Arms  [Australian Relinquishing

                                                       Mothers Association] back in  the 80's

                                                        has passed away after a long illness,

                                                       Meg wrote the book Mothers in ARMS,

                                                       a history of the organisation.

                                                       Meg was also a mother who lost her daughter

                                                       to Adoption.Our deepest sympathy to her family ,
